Computer-assisted telephone interviews

Computer-assisted telephone interviewing (CATI) is a popular method of collecting quantitative data, often used in conjunction with online surveys. This technique involves interviewers conducting telephone interviews and recording responses on a computer, allowing for efficient and statistically significant data collection. We offer full support for CATI interviews in Italy and abroad.

Interviews Cati

The computer-assisted telephone interviewing (CATI) method was developed to improve traditional telephone interviewing.

The CATI software guides and supports interviewers throughout the entire research process automatically. The questionnaire, displayed on the screen together with the potential answers of the interviewee, serves as a script and a strict sequence of questions: interviewers cannot change the questions or the questionnaire itself. They act only as intermediaries between the interviewee and the predefined questionnaire.

Researchers contact respondents by phone and follow on-screen instructions, directly recording their responses into a computer database. This method ensures data integrity, eliminating the risk of data loss or recording errors.

High quality data collection

The interviewer is trained to ask questions correctly and accurately, ensuring high-quality data collection.

Time saving

Data is entered directly, eliminating manual steps and automatically managed re-contacts.

Greater Accuracy

An on-screen guided questionnaire eliminates transcription errors, thus improving data accuracy.

Full Control

A summary screen allows you to monitor completed and suspended interviews in real time.

Reduced costs

The project requires less management, leading to an overall reduction in costs.

Contact

The presence of the interviewer ensures a personal relationship with the respondent, improving the quality of the data collected.
