CMO Group is a company that operates in the electromechanical components market in various industrial sectors. For a company of the group specialized in custom processing for electrical conductors, we were commissioned to explore a new market for the sale of raw materials.
understand the potential
The aim of the project was to understand the interest in a new market towards the direct purchase of raw materials as an alternative to the distributors already present. For this purpose we proposed a CATI survey to screen and understand the needs of buyers.
project development
In particular, we built a sector database to build a significant number of cases to test. Subsequently, the database was subjected to an initial screening questionnaire (in compliance with privacy regulations) and in case of interest, the contacts were passed to the company's sales office.
result
The company was able to quickly probe the interest of hundreds of potential buyers and thus understand the market potential of the new business branch, with reliable data, thanks to a fieldwork of about two months.
