Project Tags
Today I want to tell you about a project we did for one of our clients. We took care of the creation of a website in particular for a Yoga school in Bergamo: Elysium Yoga.
In the course of this article, I will explain what the client requested and what was done.
Small spoiler, we used a very efficient platform on the marketing side, WIX, and you too will understand why it is the ideal choice for this type of project.
Introduction
Creating a website is a fundamental component for any business that wants to compete in today's almost digital marketplace .
Through this example, you will discover how we brought to life the idea that the client, Elysium Yoga , wanted to realize.
The result was an attractive and functional website that, after receiving feedback from the client, is already bringing very positive results despite having been published online only a couple of weeks ago.
By positive performance I mean over 100 subscribers to their mailing list and several paying customers enrolled in their courses .
The site was created using Wix, one of the best platforms available on the market, very efficient on the marketing side. Do you want to know the difference between Wordpress and Wix? Read the full article.
The Client: Elysium Yoga
Elysium Yoga is a yoga school based in Bergamo, Italy, dedicated to promoting health and wellness through the ancient practices of yoga. Their goal was to create an online presence that would reflect their philosophy and attract new students of all ages, interested in participating in their classes with various difficulty levels.
Before approaching us, Elysium Yoga was looking for a marketing agency that could first understand their brand identity and allow them to reach a wider audience through a website. We also wanted to create a website that was easy to manage and update, as the Elysium Yoga team had no technical experience in web design.
The project
As with every project we carry out, we initially asked for an introductory meeting with the entire Elysium Yoga team to understand what their needs, requests and expectations were.
After taking note, taking into account their brand identity, we decided to proceed by creating 2 hypothetical drafts of websites with different fonts, page structure, color palette and positioning of elements on individual pages.
The logo
However, before proceeding with the practical implementation, we also supported the client in creating the company logo.
Together with their entire team, the style and colors of the logo were chosen to reflect their Yoga school. Visual perception is very important in order to build a brand. For this reason, the creation of the logo, together with the choice of fonts and the color palette to use are very important because they will be used in online as well as offline communication .
The website
Customer needs analysis:
Meeting with the client to understand objectives, target audience and specific requirements. Without an initial meeting you do not understand the client's needs and therefore you risk creating something that ultimately does not reflect their expectations.
Planning and Strategy:
Definition of the website objectives (for example, we decided whether the client wanted the course to be sold on the website or on an external management system and therefore whether to keep the website as the first touchpoint and possible contact)
Identifying the key features of the site : the menu with the various subsections and which subpages. For example, here there was a need to highlight the teachers since each one teaches different styles. Likewise, it was important to specify the courses to help visitors understand if their agenda can match the times of the individual lessons.
Research and Analysis:
Study of the competition and industry trends (this step is essential to understand how competitors are identified and how a brand can differentiate itself)
Architecture Design:
Defining the site structure (sitemap)
Creation of wireframes and mockups for the design. We preferred to create 2 different graphic drafts so that the client could choose the one he most reflected in.
Development and Web Design:
Creating an attractive and brand-consistent graphic design.
Implementation of interactive and dynamic features.
Creating contact elements such as newsletter subscription and chat on the website
Content Production:
Writing of texts (shared with the client) to be inserted in each page of the site and insertion of photographic material from the client in order to personalize the site as much as possible.
Search Engine Optimization (SEO):
Optimization of individual pages with all the elements present (images, meta tags, meta descriptions, etc.) in an SEO perspective to position the site and ensure that it is indexed on search engines.
Mobile Version
Control of all the site features also on mobile version
Test and control:
Check that the site is working correctly on different devices and browsers before going online (e.g. forms)
Privacy and cookie solution
Drafting of the privacy policy and cookie banner to comply with the law (GDPR) and insertion on the site
Website Launch:
Publishing the website online.
Backup and security setup.
Training and Support:
Providing customer training for site management.
Offer of technical assistance and periodic maintenance.
Analysis and improvement:
Registration for Google Analytics4 and connection of GA4 with the website in order to monitor traffic metrics and analyze user behavior.
Here are some screenshots of the site published online:
We are very excited because the customer was also pleasantly satisfied with the work done. Read his review below:
I had the opportunity to commission the development of an entire website to the Hangler agency. I'm honest, I didn't know them, and they weren't even recommended to me by anyone, so I started out "neutral" in the working relationship. Now that their task is almost finished, I say with equal sincerity that they were truly magnificent. I found great availability, competence, dynamism and respect for delivery times. In addition to having met "real people" to whom I relied, in this world increasingly dominated by calculation algorithms and virtual assistants. I urge, obviously, anyone to contact them.
